ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2017 FROM NOON TO 9 PM REPUBLICAN PRIMARY ELECTIONS FOR THE INDICATED OFFICES WILL BE HELD IN THE FOLLOWING CHENANGO COUNTY TOWNS:
Afton – Justice
North Norwich – Superintendent of Highways
City of Norwich – Judge
Town of Norwich – Superintendent of Highways
Plymouth – Town Council and Superintendent of Highways
Sherburne – Clerk
Smyrna – Town Council
Please note that you must currently be a registered Republican in the town having a Primary Election in order to vote in the Primary Election.
Monday, September 11, 2017 is the last date to present in person at the Board of Elections office to complete an Absentee Ballot Application and vote your ballot.
If you wish to change your party affiliation, the deadline is Friday, October 13, 2017, with an effective date of Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
The deadline to register to vote in the Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 General Election is Friday, October 13, 2017.
